Kirsty Churchill’s new single, Who You Gonna Call? will be officially released on April 15 on Big Bed Records. The song follows her successful debut, “Those Three Words” which continues to get radio play.
The new single represents a further collaboration between F Block’s Hank Hughes and Mark Herbert, the writer behind Indigo Road who scored success with such songs as “Simple” and “Glory.” Recorded and mixed at F Block which is currently enjoying music industry heat, having written and produced Zayn Malik’s worldwide smash, Pillow Talk.
The single will be supported by a video (above), shot at Ealing Studios and Kirsty makes her live debut at London Water Rats on April 6th.
Kirsty’s debut single Those Three Words made the playlist at BC FM, Beverley FM, Black Cat Radio, Radio Woking, Oban FM, Riviera FM, Southside Radio, Surrey Hills Radio, Uckfield FM, VRN Radio and many more. The Surrey songstress was even invited in to co-present a full show on Radio Woking and there was even talk of the single being a potential Eurovision entry.
Kirsty has been on the radar of highly respected F Block owner/producer Hank Hughes for a while. He subsequently recommended her to Big Bed Records, who have made her the label’s first signing.
Label A&R man Greg Power said, “We are delighted to have signed Kirsty and to have got the label off to such a positive start. The litmus test for us is, is it busk-able, is a song strong enough to last in the memory with just one instrument and one voice,” said Power.
“Who You Gonna Call?” will be available on all digital platforms.
