LA based dreamer Dalton has unveiled ‘Touch’, the fuzzed up b-side to his single ‘Only Names’, which was released in early December via In Stereo Records. A raw slice of power-pop, ‘Touch’ hints at the varied sounds and textures on his forthcoming debut album, to be released via Fierce Panda in February 2015.
With ‘Only Names’, his debut single, Dalton has turned a lo-fi bedroom jam into a slow-burning mini-epic.
Born Nate Harar, Dalton has moved around the United States, from DC through to Brooklyn before recently settling in LA. His DIY, anti-rock’n’roll ethos has seen him experiment with different sounds. Despite the wealth of influences in his music, each of his songs are tied together by an almost indescribable intimacy, which feels both familiar yet vital.
‘Only Names’/’Touch’ was released in early December via In Stereo Records. His debut album is due for release February 23rd via Fierce Panda.
