CHERUB is a Nashville-based pop/electronic duo comprised of Jordan & Jason that formed 3 years ago at college – new album planned for 2014 release via Columbia Records!
“Cherub has a sweaty dance party to start somewhere, and it will happen with or without you. (12 Tennessee Bands You Should Listen To Now)” – PasteMagazine.com
“They bring an effervescent approach to their self-produced R&B and pop tracks – kitschy, yet witty lyrics, understated guitar chords, and a symphony of electronic effects.” – Life + Times
“Cherub are one of the world's most thrilling young acts.” – Artist Direct
Nashville’s own risqué, electro-pop duo, Cherub - consisting of Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber - will be releasing their highly-anticipated major label debut album, Year Of The Caprese, on Columbia Records.
Jordan explains the inspiration behind the track’s memorable hook: “We were buying champagne in the Beachside Liquor Store in Gulf Shores, Alabama and there was this dude in his mid-40’s behind the counter. I’ll never forget what he said, ‘I remember the days of ‘pagne and caine!’”
The previous video has had over 2.9 million views and ‘Doses and Mimosas’ has been #1 on Shazam in Los Angeles and Top 5 Shazam in San Francisco. It has also been #1 on Hypemachine’s ‘Most Talked About Songs’ list and has already sold over 100K tracks in the US.
