Sultry singer Lana Del Rey is about to drop her follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Born to Die’ with new album ‘Ultraviolence’. She teased the fans by dropping the title track of the album via YouTube this week.
A love letter to a violent affair with angelic classic cinematic themes as she tenderly swoons, ‘when you hit me it felt like a kiss’. A more ethereal choral song differs from the first single ‘West Coast’ as strings delicately fusion with her harmonious calming vocals. It flashes back to a ‘Young and Beautiful’ style opposed to some of the more dangerous daring love songs she has penned in the past. A promising track for what could be another successful album for Del Rey.
You can pre-order ‘Ultraviolence’ on iTunes now for a June 16th UK release.
